Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Lee; parents, Doyle and Anna Lea and grandson, Willie Galyen.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Dianna (Tom) Galyen and son, Bart (Lana) Davenport; grandchildren, Nathan (Joanna) Galyen, Amanda (Buster) Geary and James Williams; great-grandchildren, Annalynn and Henry Galyen and Daxton and Audrey Geary; brothers, Ron (Lavonne) and Kirby (Cindy) Davenport and many other treasured family members and friends.

On October 20, 1963, Bill married the love of his life, Anna Lee Blasdel. Together they loved the Lord, raised Dianna and Bart, hunted, fished and faced life's difficulties. Their favorite recreation was taking road trips to Colorado.

He worked a few years at LaBarge in Huntsville, Arkansas, then earned a second degree in education and taught high school a few years. To all of Bill’s family my sincere sympathy. I worked across the hall from Bill for many years at the DHS office in Yellville. He was a gentle man who gave a lot of good will to many, regardless of their circumstances or station in life. He was deeply respected for his work ethic and authentic caring manner. I am just now hearing about your loss and it makes me sad that you had to give him up. Prayers for you all are going up.
