Carolyn Richards, 79, of Jonesboro passed away on January 27, 2024. Carolyn was born June 22, 1944 in Tyronza, AR to Lavell and Ruth Newcomb. She retired from Harvest Foods where she worked as a florist for many years. Carolyn was a woman of many hobbies like fishing, cooking, shopping and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Lavell and Ruth Newcomb; husband, Willie Richards; son, Mark Richards; brothers, Billy Joe Newcomb, George Newcomb and sister, Lavern Newcomb.

Left to cherish her memory are her grandchild, Devon (BJ) Wheeley; great-grandchildren, Wrenley Wheeley and Calum Wheeley; brothers, Jerry (Gale) Newcomb, Phillip (Angie) Newcomb; sister, Kay Tedder and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Devon i am so sorry about Carolyn! I am going to miss her so much! She was my sister-in-law for many years. She adored you and those babies! I am going to miss our phone calls!! Everyone will be in my thoughts and prayers!! I love y'all!!
