Dorothy ''Chrystene'' McCoy, 98, of Branch, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 in Charleston, Arkansas. She was born on December 3, 1925 in Wesley, Arkansas to her parents, Marion Edward and Minnie Abigail (McChristian) Daily.

Chrystene was retired and was a devoted homemaker. She loved to quilt, crochet, work puzzles and was a devoted lifelong member of the Branch Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred McCoy; one son, Danny McCoy; three sisters, Mary Lee Sloan, Joann Fitzgerald and Janie Wyatt; one brother, Bill Daily; one son in law, John Goff and one great granddaughter, London McCoy.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Goff of Branch; two sons, Bob McCoy and wife, Alvena of Charleston and Randall McCoy and wife, Velta of Branch; 8 grandchildren, Kelly Kidd, Michael McCoy and wife, Stacey, Christopher McCoy, Dawn Kelly and husband, Jason, Tonya McCoy, Randie McCoy, Kevin McCoy and wife, Ashley and Stephanie McCoy; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. The funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Bro. Larry Bean with burial following in Hampton Cemetery North of Branch under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Michael McCoy, Christopher McCoy, Kevin McCoy, Eric Krigbaum, Ryan Krigbaum and Greg McCoy.

Honorary pallbearers will be the member of Branch Church of Christ.

So sorry for the loss of a precious lady. I remember visiting with Pat and her brothers. Chrystene was a wonderful example of a Christian, she was always busy, always kind. And she loved her family with a passion .
