September 6, 1952 - January 3, 2024

Joel Lee Satterfield, 71, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, formally of Kansas City, Missouri, went to be with his Maker on January 3, 2024. He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Otis and Mary Lois Satterfield. Joel graduated from Rosedale High School in 1970 and then attended the Mid-American Nazarene College in Olathe, Kansas. He married his high school sweetheart, Margo, in 1971. Joel retired after many years as District Manager of the Commonwealth Theaters. Even after retirement Joel kept working, delivering school buses. He was a member of the national honors society. Joel was a loving husband, father and brother; his family was his entire world. He always made sure to visit the family for the holidays. Joel really enjoyed travelling all over the U.S and going on cruises with Margo. He loved all animals and sitting on the porch watching the deer and birds. Joel is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margo Satterfield; son, Derek Satterfield; sisters, Ruth (Rick) Hamel, Sharon (Bobby) Kuebelbeck; sister-in-law, Susan (Jerry) Barker and brother-in-laws, Doug (Nancy) Carlson, Cameron (Karen) Carlson, and Tim Carlson.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Homes in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Visitation will begin one hour prior at 1:00PM.

I'm so sorry Aunt Margo, and DJ. He will certainly be missed. I hope and pray that this will somehow draw others to trust in Jesus for their life as well. We will be praying for this extremely hard time.
