Jimmie Ray Marsh

of Judsonia, AR

October 12, 1932 - December 21, 2023

Jimmie Ray Marsh, 91, of Searcy, AR went to his heavenly home December 21, 2023. He was born October 12, 1932 in Letona, AR to the late Harvey and Bessie Bennett Marsh.

Jimmie married the love of his life, Mary at 19, forming a relationship that lasted nearly seven decades. He was a sewing machine mechanic by trade and a master tinkerer in his spare time. He loved to take apart, repair and make things in his ''piddle room'' and was a certified redneck engineer. He was a devout believer, turning to God for guidance throughout his life. He served as an elder at the Church of Christ at Airport Loop and would be in attendance no matter the weather. Jimmie was a loving father and husband and is greatly missed.

Along with his parents, Jimmie is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Mary Ellen; one sister, Billie Willingham and one brother, Rodney Marsh.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Paulette Richie; son, Rick Marsh and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Elizabeth Marsh and fiancé, Tim Schmeltzer and David Marsh; as well as a host of other family and friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 27 at 10 AM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with service at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Pickens Chapel Cemetery.
