Ma. Guadalupe Vargas Manjarrez, known as Maria Aldaco, 78, of Jonesboro, AR passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at her home. She was born on May 5, 1945 in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico to Gabino Vargas Mosqueda and Isidora Manjarrez. Maria was a homemaker. She was a Jehovah witness and attended the Kingdom Hall in Jonesboro. She loved to preach and spread the good news of the Kingdom of God.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, J. Santos Aldaco; her parents and an infant son, Lazaro.
She is survived by 6 sons, Jose Aldaco, Francisco Aldaco, Augustin Aldaco, Martin Aldaco, Everardo Aldaco and Juan Aldaco; 6 daughters, Ulfrana Aldaco, Rosa Aldaco, Natividad Aldaco, Maria Aldaco, Susana Aldaco and Lupita Aldaco; 26 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and a brother, Augustin Manjarrez.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
