April 24, 1933 - December 5, 2023

Lavern Gray, 90, of Michigan City, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at her home. She was born on April 24, 1933 in Marmaduke to Addison and Vertie Mae (Carlton) Gossett. On January 18, 1950 in Burnthill, AR, she married the love of her life, Jewell Gray. Lavern worked at Blocksom and Co, she retired after 28 years of service. She loved flowers of all kinds and especially her 7-foot tomato plants.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Jewell; daughters, Peggy Langwell and Judy Gray; son, Randy Gray; brothers, Odell, JR, William and Sherman Gossett and sister-in-law, Dottie Gossett.

Survivors include her daughter, Pat Nall; son, Ronnie (Sandy) Gray; grandchildren, Julie Bush, Naney Nall, Patty Caufield, Randy, Spencer Block, Elyssa Bullock and Grahan Block; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great- grandchildren; brother, Ralph Gossett; niece, Debbie Rorie and her special ''baby'', Toto.

A graveside service will be Thursday, December 14, 2023, 11:30 am at Pine Log Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave., Jonesboro, AR.

Lavern had a good life well lived with a wonderful family,
I knew her from visits she made to Ralph and Dot.
