Wally was a wonderful person and great friend. My late husband, Judge Stephen Sharp, would’ve also bragged on Wally’s being an excellent law-enforcement officer, Marine, and caring public servant. They shared some favorite authors and good conversations. Wally and his loved ones are in my prayers.

I knew Kennett's Deputy Chief Poynor while working at the Justice Center for just a little while a few years ago. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good man. I will never forget the picture of Barney Fife that hung in his office. It made me smile. Quite a sense of humor. R I P Mr. Poynor. You will be missed. Prayers for his family.

Gone but not forgoten. Wally you were a man bigger than life. You touched more lives than anyone can count I will always remember with joy while working for you listening to you and my husband talk about the days in the Marines. The laughter, the good times and bad. You 2 taught me so much in life about integrity and honor. You will be greatly missed.
