I had the Honor of knowing Laurie for many years. Her house is next door to Graves Church. I still look out my office window and I can picture her out front trimming the hedges, mowing and planting flowers. She had such a love for the outdoors. I ALWAYS looked forward to visiting with Laurie. She had such a sweet, sweet spirit and everyone here at Graves thought the world of her! She loved BIG and was so compassionate and giving. I already MISS her MUCH! Love and prayers to all her family and friends.
My first job was at Thibault's where I met Laurie. We became good friends and stayed that was after I married. Our friendship grew to my husband and our friends - and lasted for many years. I lost touch with her and really regret that - thought of her often. She was a great friend, mentor and just a lovely person - will be missed by all! RIP Laurie
