Mary Christine Dunn

of Ozark, AR

April 1, 1928 - November 9, 2023

Mary Christine Dunn was born on April 1, 1928 in Clarksville, Arkansas. Her Lord and Savior called her home on November 9, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrew Heath Dunn; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her two sons, Charles (Janet) and Jerry (Michelle), 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Above all, Mary will be remembered for her faith and her steadfast trust in Jesus Christ. In life, she suffered many afflictions including cancer and blindness. She never wavered in her belief that suffering teaches us to persevere, in order for us to mature in Christ. Her suffering enabled her to comfort others in their time of need. Mary knew the word of God and studied it regularly and although she lost most of her sight later in life, the word was already firmly established in her.

Mary was a loving wife and a good mother. She raised her children in church and ensured that they were well equipped with everything they needed to live God-fearing lives. Surely God said, "well done" as she entered His holy presence. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Terry Pickrell officiating. Burial will be in West Mount Zion Cemetery north of Hartman under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.

( Mary) Christine and Andy attended Twin Oaks Baptist for a time. As she lost more of her eyesight she graciously opened her home for women's Bible study.. it was filled with beautiful paintings. She never bragged about her work but the love of the Lord, the Light of the World , shown forth in every aspect of her life; her tastefully decorated home, her cheery.paintings and her loving, gracious spirt. I was able to visit hera few times in the nursing home and found the same woman there, still pointing to Christ at all times. Such a joy.

I miss you Nanny!! One of my fondest memories was when I was little you got me my own easel, canvas and paints and would let me paint beside you as you were creating your own beautiful paintings. You even showed me how to mix the colors to make a sky and the sun. It brings me peace to know you are joined with Poppop and watching over us! I love you very much!!

Mary was such a sweet lady. I was fortunate to meet her at our church when her and her husband joined. We all loved them both very much. She’ll be greatly missed.

Christine was a very sweet lady with quick humor.
As her eyes dimmed her love for painting, looked more like abstract art.
She was definitely a true lady.
Reunited with her love Andy.
