Mama was born in Shawnee, OK, into a loving family with two older brothers and parents that adored her! She was spoiled!
And she made sure my younger sister and myself had all the dolls and carriages two little girls could ever want. But not only that, she sewed all our pretty Sunday and holiday clothes, matching us perfectly. And she made clothes for our dolls. I think Teresa and I were Mama's little dolls! Mama liked her music; I can still hear it playing loudly and I can still see her swoon dancing around the house. She played marbles and jacks and jump rope with us! When I was 5 years old she gave us a baby brother to love.

She was a very participatory and happy mama!

Mama got to start that full force mama-ing again, when according to what Mama told us teenagers, the angels brought us our brother Matthew Jordan. Four years later she was loving on her first granddaughter, her beautiful little baby. Through the years following she and dad played grandparents with the emphasis on grand with all our children. Mama spoiled each one, showering them all with her love and total devotion.
Just last week, unable to get up, she told me she needed to get up and fix some dinner for the boys, (that being my brother and his boys).

Later when Matt was there she tried her best to fit some fabric on him in an attempt to make him a new coat for the winter. And she was still worrying about whether dad was sleeping ok.
Our Mama was a mama in every sense of the word. She stayed true to this mothering nature for 65 years during which she was blessed with 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She has planted the seeds of her love in each of us; seeds that will live on through many generations!

I am so sorry to hear that she is gone. I have not seen her in years. She was my aunt, I'm Jack daughter. I do remember she was so nice. I lost contact over the years and had been trying to find her. I feel so bad that I didn't get to talk to her again and show her photos of my kids and my two grandkids. I will miss her.

Sue Deason is my cousin. There are many fond memories of family gatherings at Grandma and Grandpa Deason’s home. Mostly on a Sunday afternoon. The cousins had hours of playing together. sometimes in Grandpa’s barn and in the outbuildings of the farm. The aunts also had a clothes swap going on in the back bedroom.. lots of love in this family. At special times we were able to spend the nights .. silly giggling and sleeping in the feather bed.. being loved by Gr. Ma and Gr. Pa.
Su was a very beautiful girl that grew into a wonderful Lovely Lady. Prayers for her family.

My sweet Mrs. Jones. It was a honor to know this very kind, loving, and considerate woman. She taught me a lot of things in the short time I knew her but one thing was for sure is you don’t go anywhere without some lipstick. May God bless her as she walks with him again and her family as well, for they are the perfect example of the loving Mrs. Jones.

Your mom was such a blessing. She made Ron's life complete and in doing so, blessed us all. I know you will all miss both of them so very much, but I'm happy you have all the memories of years past with them. I love to think of her and Ron together, whole and healthy again.

Su was the best friend I ever had. Ron too. Jerry and I loved them so much, and we knew they loved us.
Su was the best Rehabilitation Counselor, and I was privileged to be mentored by her when I was new at the Center. Ron was my Supervisor and also we were best friends. Then it became the 4 of us. I got mad at Jerry one day and I moved in with all of you for a few days! Lol We loved the whole Jones family.
I am writing this through tears, and with a broken heart, but it comforts me to know they've met up with Jerry, all their loved ones, and are well and happy again.
Your mama was the very definition of a truly good heart and elegance.
I am holding all of you in my heart, and I love you.

Your Mama loved each and every one of you differently, but the same. And her love will live on through each of you, differently, but the same. Sending my love to you all. ??
