Neta was born June 18, 1925 in Farmersville, Texas. During World War Il, she worked on a munitions assembly line. Later she worked in the gift-wrapping department of Titche's Department Store in Dallas. She had her own catering business that primarily served weddings. She made hundreds of wedding cakes in her small home kitchen. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock.

She married Gene Hilton in 1945, they lived together in Dallas and Little Rock until Gene's death. She will be remembered as a kind and loving person. She made people happy in her 98+ years of life. And she will be missed.

Her ashes will be placed in the columbarium at Second Presbyterian Church next to her husband in a private service. Neta and her father had Parkinson's Disease, as does her daughter, Beth and her son-in-law, Ed; so in lieu of flowers, please make any memorial gifts to The Parkinson's Foundation.
