Terry Randall Jones

of Alexander, AR

October 3, 1952 - September 26, 2023

Terry Randall Jones born on October 3, 1952 in Denver, Colorado to Venita and L. T. Jones left this earth to live with his heavenly father on September 26, 2023, one week prior to his 71st birthday.

Terry had a brilliant mind, he believed in hard work and had the smarts and work ethic to succeed at just about anything and the skills to design, build or fix whatever the situation called for. Terry ran a successful business as Owner and President of Terra Corporation alongside family and friends. He loved the outdoors, the lake, boating, fishing and hunting. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos and looked forward to football season each year. He loved to share stories of the past and always had a joke to tell. His laugh was contagious. He loved and cherished his children and grandchildren. He believed in tough yet unconditional love and took every opportunity to teach and pass along his knowledge and work ethics. His greatest joy was the family cabin in the woods that he designed and built from the ground up for all to enjoy.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Rochelle Jones; sons, Corey Jones, Jake Jones; daughters, Jessica Ward (Jeremy), Rhea Garcia (Hunter), Elise Temple (Jimmy), Victoria Broll (Adam); grandchildren, Elizabeth Lunde, Carter Lunde, Charley Ward, Evelyn Ward, Jaslynn Ward, Aubrey Broll, Hayden Bainter, Torrance Roach; sisters, Jean Jones, Vicki Lee, Judy Causey (Deloin); adopted sister, Georgia Kendrick; nieces, Lynn Blakinship, Kristi Furr, Lori Holbert and longtime friends, William Billy Brown and Lee Woodall.

Private services will be held in Bluffton, Arkansas.

Dada, you’ve made such a huge impact in my life. I know that you know now the difference you’ve made and will continue to make in my life. When I think of you, I will remember the good times like when you’d let me stand on your feet and we’d dance across the living room or how you’d play along every time I’d ask you to lift me up while I clinged to your bicep. I’ll remember how you took my tire off my car and made me put it back on so I’d know what to do if I ever got a flat. I’ll remember all the life lessons you’ve taught me that have helped create the woman I am today. I’ll always cherish the memories of going to the beach every summer vacation, getting whipped around the lake on an inner tube, getting to drive around the neighborhood on atvs, and so much more. Thank you for all the love and support you gave me, AJ and Aubrey aka Chickenpop, I’ll miss you dada, I love you, and I’ll see you again.

Dad,
You will definitely be missed!
I love you so very much, and wish we could’ve spent more time together.
I know you saw me going through so much pain and trauma, just know, I am staying a believer and clean not only for me, but so you can watch from heaven!
Dad, I will do my best to keep the family together, Rochelle will do the same! I know you know my heart, and thank you for never giving up on me!
Love you,
Corey

Dada, I don't even know where to start...i feel like I've been avoiding everything because I don't want to believe this is real. You are and were the best father in the world. You shaped me, taught me, teased me, loved me, and I will forever be grateful for everything you did for me and taught me. I still think back at the house in the ranch and how I would get up early and drink coffee with you as you read the newspaper and then go back up stairs to fall asleep again before school. You mean the world to me and I can't imagine a world without you. I know you you are watching over all of us and I hope I make you proud. Not a day will go by that I do t think of you.
Forever and always ...

Hey, little brother (handsomest man in Saline County), your "gorgeous elder sister" misses you more than I can say. Save my place, and work on your stand-up routine until I get there. You will always occupy a large part of my heart. I love you. Jean
