Peggy Carol Leggitt Stane, 85, of Houston passed away September 15, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born in Houston, Arkansas on April 8, 1938 to Cecil Leggitt and Mildred Lee Leggitt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Boyce Leggitt and Alvis Leggitt and one sister, Rebecca Leggitt.

She is survived by her children, Pam (Donnie) of Bigelow, Chuck (Toni) of Bigelow, Susie of Little Rock and Tanya of Waldron; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Peggy had many roles throughout her life, her greatest being Nanny. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, reading and caring for others. She was a member of and raised her children in Houston Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2023 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at Houston Baptist Church Tuesday, September 19,2023 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at May Cemetery, Houston, Arkansas.
