Shirley Arlene (Thomason) Hill, age 92, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born May 21, 1931, in the Ridgeway Community, to Sidney and Gladys (Kindall) Thomason.
Shirley was a proud member of Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church. She was a bank teller for 30 years and sold real estate. Shirley loved watching Razorback football and basketball.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Harmon and Alice Thomason and Alfred and Bessie Kindall; her brothers, Sidney Jewel Thomason, Bobby Scott Thomason, and Russell Dean Thomason; and several beloved pets.
Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Kaye and Steve Duck; her granddaughter, Rachel Duck Guenther; her grandson, Matthew Steven Duck; and one great-grandchild, Gretchen Madison Ruth Guenther.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Brothers Jim Brisco and Jake Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Service.
The interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Duck, Jonathan Guenther, Kent Pettit, Jim Brisco, Jake Johnson, and Chad Spencer.
Honorary pallbearers are Bert Ryan, Jeff Dezort, Bobby Earwood, Charles Weaver, Rob Thomason, and Dr. Steve Shrum and Staff.

To Shirley's family, She was a very sweet person with always a smile and a positive word. I feel blessed that I got to know her, when she came to our Pampered Feet Ministry. She didn't talk very long without talking about her Lord. May God Comfort You.
