Barbara E. Cook, age 79, of Omaha, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 27th, 2023 at The Springs of Mt Vista. She was born September 17th, 1943 in Harrison, Arkansas to Clyde Williams and Mildred (Jagger) Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and one daughter, Dovie Haggard.

Barbara was a one-of-a-kind. She took great care of her children. She enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with her kitties, gardening, and watching crime shows. If she had a good book in her hands, there was a good chance she would ignore you. She always wanted to hold the babies. Barbara will always be remembered as a strong pillar in her family.

She is survived by one son, Tommie Jr. (Renee) Cook of Rogers; three daughters, Tammy Wise of Branson, Missouri, Lorena Blair of Omaha, Arkansas, and Jolene Cook of Ozark, Missouri; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will dearly miss her.


Graveside service was held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Maplewood Cemetery with Brant Fisk officiating.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
