Gerald Andy Lockhart passed away peacefully at 4:20 a.m. on August 24, 2023 . At the age of 78 he was born on March 22 1945. Preceded by father George Andrew Lockhart, mother Dallas Lorie Cox Lockhart, brother Carroll Raymond Lockhart, sister Willie "Billie" Sue Coffman, sister Laura Elizabeth Shafer, grandson Brian Scott Brotosky. Lovingly remembered by son and daughter In law Randall and Annamarie Lockhart, granddaughter Alyssa Lockhart and Josephine Brotosky, grandson Matthew Lang Dale. Great grandchildren Xander, Isaac, Ezra, Barbara, sister Shirley Rose Schaefer, Glenda Dawn man, Mildred Jeanette McClain.


Gerald was a son, father, grandfather to all his loved ones. He loved to fish and socialize with his family. He sold Boots for many years as well as built many beautiful homes in and around the Searcy area. He served his community and they served him for many years. He wanted nothing more than for his friends and family to be all they could be. If you got a chance to know him then you knew a good man and will cherish the years you got to spend with him and the memories you have of him. He will and is dearly missed by many.
