Barbara Foshee, born December 11, 1931 to Otis & Lucille Ussery close to Mt Vernon, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and loved ones she has missed for so long, on August 22, 2023. Barbara graduated from Conway High School in May 1950. She lived in El Paso, Texas and San Francisco, California for a few years. Then returned to Conway, Arkansas for the rest of her life, where she met her husband, Frank Foshee.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Ussery Clements and father, Otis Ussery; her daughter, Jo Ann Cross; two sons-in-law, Bill Cross and Andrew Beeker; two grandsons, Cauley Shane Coffey and Bryan Messer and one sister, Tommie Stevenson.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandy Earnhart, Ann Parker (Jim), Betty Messer (Russell) and Margie Beeker; one son, Timothy Foshee (Kathy); two sisters, Martha Gillham (Jim) and Cleta King; five granddaughters, Shawn Coffey Colter (David), Laura Glover, Tara Taylor (Derek), Barbara Nicole Nordyke, Jordan Foshee and two honoree granddaughters exchange students, Kate from the country of The Czech Republic and very special honoree, Vanessa from Brazil. We loved both as granddaughters. Three grandsons, William Andrew Nordyke, Michael Messer and Cameron Foshee; four great-grandsons, Cliff Coffey, Rylan Webb, Peyton Colter and Kaden Colter.
Barbara loved life and could talk to everyone. She is survived by her husband, Frank Foshee of 56 years, 6 months and 6 days. They met at the Baldwin Piano Company where they both worked.
Services will be at Robinson & Center Church of Christ, where she loved to attend church, August 28, 2023. Visitation at 12:00pm, services at 1:00pm, led by Steve Norris, minister. Songs will be led by Tim Stroud and Daniel Hudgens.
Mike Barber, Mark Copeland, Keith Moreland, Mark Ashley, Allen Myers and Stanley Gordon will be pallbearers.

I have known this family for years, I was best friends with her yongest sister Cleta for all our school years and spent alot of time with all. Prayers of comfort for the family! Mrs. Barbara was always so sweet, kind and generous to myself and my son! She would bring him huge pickles to his baseball games when he younger because she knew he loved them! Her presence on earth will truly be missed, but Heaven gained a beautiful soul!

Sorry to hear about your losses so close together of Jo Ann and now Barbara. Now they are together looking down upon the rest of their family.
