of Little Rock, AR
November 15, 1951 - August 17, 2023
James Michael "Mike" Patton, 71, of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2023.
Growing up on the family farm in Wooster, Arkansas, Mike learned early the value of hard work. This was the start of a lifetime of giving his all to everything he took on. Whether it was farming, becoming an EMT, his 37-year career at J.A. Riggs, or his hobbies of photography, traveling, bowling, volleyball, boating, diving, fishing and NASCAR, Mike did it all with an enthusiastic attitude that made others want to be around him.
Mike will be most remembered for what he gave to others. He was dedicated to his extended family, gave unconditional acceptance to his friends and was generous with his time, his advice, his humor, and anything else that he thought would make someone else's life better. He shared his love for his hobbies with the next generations, teaching many to fish, boat and dive, leaving a legacy of happy memories for so many.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents James Edward and Helen (Mobby) Patton, two sisters Eva Elizabeth Patton and Janeane (Patton) Brasuell and his son Christopher Patton.
Mike leaves behind his wife ''best thing that ever happened to me'', Kristi Patton; daughter, Elizabeth (Randall) Shepard; stepson, Gunner (Alli) McGathy; two sisters, Pam (Jim) Jolly and Tammy Jones; sister-in-law, Shannon (David) Williams and mother-in-law, Ojuana Thomas. Mike also leaves behind three grandchildren, Jora, Kannon and Josi Henson and bonus grandchild, Lia Grace, along with a host of friends and family who will continue to honor Mike by living their lives to the fullest.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday night, August 22, 2023, from 6 to 8:00pm, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway and funeral services on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 1:00pm, at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Benton.

Mike, thanks for letting me tag along to Vegas. We had a great time walking around, eating, and especially playing Bingo.
Rest in Peace my friend!

I met Mike a few years ago when we would stay at his wife’s houseboat. He would cook for us, drive us around and show us the lake and then listen to all of our crazy conversations. He always welcomed us with open arms. I am thankful for the time we had.
