He enjoyed being a handyman with his kids and their families, remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms, closets, etc. He was not able to do as much in his later years, but he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Bobby was such a joy to be around and spread that joy wherever he went. Just last week, while back in Benton and driving around, his favorite direction kept running through my head. It's off Bauxite Cut-Off. He will definitely be missed. Prayers for the family.

I wish I'd been able to meet your wonderful Dad, Lennie and Charis. He brought your two beautiful souls into this world - luminescent proof of the remarkable being he obviously was. The loss of a parent is an indescribably bewildering time; my heart is with you both now more than ever, and with your dear mother as she's grieves the loss of her soulmate. Hold each other tight, and feel the love that surrounds you always. xoxoxo

Bobby and Marilyn have been great friends for over 60 years. Bobby was a upperclass roommate in old Brooks Hall Stairway 5 at Baylor University to me and my friend Sherwin Crumley. What a special mentor he was to our basement level suite. It was his influence and urging that introduced us to the BRH choir of which he was President when Kurt Kaiser was enlisted as Director in 1964 (ish). Over the many years since, he has proven to be a true man of God touching so many lives for the Lord Jesus. Welcome Home Bobby.

I’m thankful that Bobby’s joy is now complete as he is In God’s presence. May you in his family find comfort in God’s loving arms.
The joy that Bobby brought to the people he met must fill an ocean. I met Bobby in a P.E. class my freshman year at Baylor and never forgot his smile , joy of living, and encouragement.
