Life is hard to understand sometimes, we never had the opportunity to meet Karen even though we feel like we have. I had a few conversations with her over the telephone, far too brief and infrequent to get to know someone well, which is unfortunate for us. We know Karen mostly through working with John, I speak with him almost daily and the love and devotion for his wife came through every time her name was mentioned. That is one of the gifts that money can’t buy, the kind of gift we all wish for our sons and daughters, friends and family. I know from experience that the sadness of losing someone never completely goes away but it does change with time. The sound of a favorite song or the sight of a frequent destination spot will eventually bring a smile of pleasant memories instead of a tear from constant sorrow. Here’s hoping the fond memories come sooner than later.

John and family,
We are saddened to hear of Karen's passing into eternity.
Even though you feel the heartache of loss it will pass.
Because she is singing a new song, that only the angels have known.

John ,

I am so sorry for your loss. Karen was such a sweet and loving person! I loved the time we got to work together at Fletcher and I know she meant the world to my mom. She was really looking forward to stamping together in 2 weeks. May god wrap his arms around you. She will greatly be missed! Miss you dearly Karen but I know you are at peace.
