Joseph Paul Cantrall, age 73, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at his home.
Joe was born in California, April 2, 1950 to Jewell Crews and Virginia Orrell Cantrall. He had lived in the area for more than 50 years. He was a Pentecostal and served in many capacities in the area. He was on the Flippin City Council, served with the Flippin Fire Department for several years, worked as night manager at MarBax Shirt Factory in Gassville, was on the Fairview Cemetery Board, was a mechanic with J & P Auto and ran the gate at North Central Arkansas Speedway for years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Cantrall is survived by his wife, Tammy, of the home; two sons, Jared Cantrall and Derek Baker both of Flippin and one daughter, Darla Hullen also of Flippin and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Heith Hogan officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery near Flippin.
Pallbearers will be the Flippin Fire Department.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Johnson, Rick Perry, Justin Haney, Carl McBee Sr., Dick Johnson, Emil Garofalo and L.B. Wood.

Joe was the most
committed and dedicated man that i ever had the pleasure of serving with while as Flippin Mayor. Joe always set in first chair to my left at every meeting.
I don't recall him ever recall him missing a meeting. Joe your sevice to your family, city council, and fire department was very admiralable rest in peace my friend.
Tammy & Family - I am so very sorry for your loss. Joe was a wonderful man and his kindness was known throughout the county. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and during these difficult days ahead. Sending a big hug.
To all of Joe's Family. May you all find comfort and strength knowing Joe was loved by so many people. He will be so missed but NEVER Forgotten. I have known Joe every since he moved to Flippin. 50 Plus years ago. Hold tight to all your memories of such a good man. Praying God will be with each of you during this hard time.

I am so very sorry to hear about Joe. He will be missed by many including myself. I can remember the weekends when you, Joe and I would go out Boot Scootin an then go by Hardees to eat always had such a wonderful time, Joe was a hoot.

I've known Joe C. as long as I can remember and grew up with him right by my Dad's side for so many things and all the racing. I will miss seeing Joe and hearing him say " Mornin" no matter the time of day. My heart is broken. All my thoughts and prayers to you all at this difficult time.

Joe was my second cousin. We didn't spend a lot of time together but when we would visit family in north Arkansas he was always there visiting with everyone. He was a very nice, kind man. Prayers for you all
