Gary Varallo, long-term resident of Mountain Home, passed away on June 19, 2023, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Born September 16, 1952, in LaPorte, Indiana, he earned his undergraduate and master's degrees at Purdue University.
He enjoyed following politics, but his passion was history and historical research. He worked many years in Real Estate in Mountain Home, most recently at LeMac Realty East.
Preceded in death by his parents; Alfonso and Jeanette Varallo. He is survived by a sister, Carol, and nephew Andrew of Portland, Oregon, and many cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at Roller Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow. Arrangements are under the care of Roller Funeral Home.

I worked with Gary for years. It was always such a pleasure to spend time with him. His positive attitude lifted me up, and his careful attention to detail made my job easier. I will miss him so much. My prayers are with his family and the many other friends who loved him.

I had the privilege of knowing Gary. He was a gentle soul and so funny. His smile would light up the room. He will be missed by many as he was loved by many also. I was proud to call Gary my friend. He was loyal to a T. RIP my friend. To his family I am sorry for y’all’s loss.
