of Conway, AR
March 7, 1961 - June 25, 2023
Richard Lee Teeters, 62, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, June 25, 2023. He was born March 7, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana to ''LeRoy'' and Mary Ellen (Huckelbery) Teeters. Richard was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister, Peg Montgomery (Teeters).
Richard was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. Richard was very active in the marching band playing the trombone and was a key member in the Emmerich Manual High School Band (Indianapolis). Richard was an avid bowler from a young age throughout his life, even bowling a 298. He enjoyed baseball, collecting memorabilia and working in the yard. He was an avid New York Yankees, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Dallas Cowboys fan. Richard held many jobs over the years with his most recent being a District Manager at Ollies Bargain Outlet. Richard will be remembered for his kind heart, his contagious laugh and always being willing to help others out in need.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Robert Teeters, Courtney (Preston) Eccles and his grandchildren, Parker and Chloe Eccles.
Richard & I crossed paths at Ollie’s. He never failed being an ambassador of the brand. No doubt he’ll be missed by many and that includes me. He made everybody around him a better person. Any time spent with him meant you were going to learn something new without fail. His work hard ethics (but have FUN, I LOVED his morning pre store opening rituals) and his fight to be healthy inspire me. I’m a better man & grateful person for having met Richard.
I worked with Richard for yrs , I have to say he was one of my favorite people ! Ive never meet anyone like him! He will always have a place in my heart! His smile, his personality was like no other! I will forever miss him! Sending prayers to family !
