With such a heavy heart we say goodbye. You were always such a bright spot in this unique wide spread family. You will be greatly missed. May your sister and extended family and friends find some solace in knowing you're with Dad, your husband Val. May the dear Lord help us find some peace with that thought. Forever in our hearts. Rest in peace dearest. Love you always. The Amite crew.

Mama V,
You faithfully loved your husband, and turned him into an even better father for us. You were under no obligation to love his children, but you made us your own and loved us year after year after year. Inheriting 10 grown children was a daunting task, but you made every concern of dad’s your own concern as well. And even when he left this world, you did not leave us, but loved us still even up until your very last Mother’s Day. We love you Mama V and we miss you already.
