Julianne Thompson, 70, of Walnut Ridge, AR, known to her family and friends as Julie, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. She was born October 3, 1952 in Jonesboro to James and Norma (Schilly) Hime. Julie loved being a nana to her grandbabies and teaching them about Jesus. She enjoyed reading, coloring and spending time with her family. She was a member of Otwell Christian Church.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 25 years, Roy Allen Thompson.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Julie include her daughter, Charity (Matthew) Hall; a granddaughter, Selena (Timothy) Deason; two great-grandchildren, Liam Deason and Oliver Deason and a brother, Butch (Kim) Hime.

Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Gibson Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR with Chad Woods officiating.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Matthew Hall, Timothy Deason, Tony West, Brian Ritter, Zach Davis and Kyle Gardner.

Lasting memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Julie was a good friend to me and Wayne and the kids. She worked hard staying with Wayne while he was sick . I just wished we could have stayed closer after she moved. We all loved Julie, she was one of a kind, we had some great laughs together and know your resting no more pain. The Lowery will always keep your memories alive.
