Eddie Tom JacksonI am a Veteran.

of Stuttgart, AR

July 14, 1947 - May 1, 2023

Eddie Tom Jackson, 75, of Stuttgart, AR passed away on May 1, 2023 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born on July 14, 1947 in Searcy to his parents, Marlin Leo and Helen Margaret Finney Jackson. He is preceded in death by his parents and his aunt, Ollie Faye Jackson.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Joellen Green Jackson along with their children; Melissa (Chris) Sullivan, Stacy (Will) Crossen, Sherry (Jason) Young, Ryan Spruill, Sarah Hooks, Jamie Spruill and Cathi (Matt) Stoevsand; their grandchildren, Maeghan (Vince) Aguilar, Kelsey, Lukas and Kiley Sullivan, Jade and Chandler Crossen, Jon (Abbie) England, Emily (Clint) Blasengame, Katy and Viola Spruill, Michael (Mykala), Joshua and William Hooks, Jacob Stiner, Michael and Andrew Crittendon, Laila, Isabella, Jakelyn and Addison Stoevsand and their great-grandchildren, Bryson, Logan and Baby Aguilar, Kai Gherst and Lillian England; along with a host of friends.

Eddie was a 1965 graduate of Pangburn High School and served as the Class Vice President of his Senior Class. He serviced our country with great pride and dignity in the United States Air Force. After leaving the Air Force, Eddie worked hard and became a Master Plumber and used his skills to help anyone who needed his skills. He worked hard, but he also enjoyed playing hard. He loved hunting and fishing and being outdoors, but he really loved being with his family. His children were great, but the best of all were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was eagerly awaiting the new great grand baby who is on the way. He bought his grandchildren a book entitled ''Grandpa's White Cane'' and enjoyed it with them.

But not to leave out the most important part of his life was his church. His church family was very important to him and he shared that with his wife and their children. He enjoyed going to the singings every chance he could and he loved singing the songs himself. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that Memorials may be made to the Blind Veterans Association, P O Box 90770, Washington, DC, 20090, BVA.org.

A graveside service has been scheduled for 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn. All services are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy.

Your Poppa loved all of you so much! We always loved going to a birthday and seeing him with a big smile on his face, asking who we were and then giving a big hug. We love you and will continue to pray for strength and peace. We love you all.
