For nearly twenty years Tim and I had lunch together almost every workday. After I retired, and after his health started to decline, we met less and less, which I regret. If I’m not mistaken, Tim was the starting quarterback at Benton High School in the late 50s and I know he played football on scholarship for the University of Houston in the early 60s. He flew helicopters in Vietnam. He had strong political opinions. He loved his family. He loved going to lunch with “the crew.” There were six to seven of us that ate lunch together on a regular basis. Five have passed on and one has moved to another town. I will miss him. I regret that I might be out of town and not able to attend the services, but I will visit his grave. My condolences are extended to his family.
