David "Mike" England

February 27, 1958 - April 20, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father and oil field tool pusher, David Michael England, who left us on the 20th of April, 2023. He was 65 years old.

His mother, Shirley Jean England and father, David Lee England welcomed him home in heaven. He is survived by his siblings, Pam Turner, Brenda Kirk and Terry England. He has three daughters, Kristal Bourg, Tammy Crews and Karissa Bledsoe; two sons, Josh England and Jeremy England and was a foster father to several other children over the years.

Our father was born and raised in Odessa into a family of oilfield workers. From a young age, he learned the value of hard work and dedication and it was no surprise when he followed in the footsteps of his family and began working in the oil and gas industry.

Our father was a tool pusher, working in the harsh West Texas oil fields. He loved the challenge and the camaraderie that came with the job. He was proud of the work he did and the life he provided to his family.

When he wasn't working, our father loved to spend time playing video games and always had a glass of sweet iced tea to quench his thirst. He was a big kid at heart and forged many deep relationships in the video game communities he joined.

Our father was a deeply devoted man who always put his family first. He was always there to offer a helping hand or a listening ear. He taught us the importance of hard work, dedication and loyalty. He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes.

We will miss our father deeply, but we take comfort in knowing that he is free from physical pain in heaven and with his parents. We love you, Dad, and we will carry your memory with us always.

Always a wonderful man and human being. Would help anyone he came across. He was an awesome brother- in - law and was good to my kids. He couldn't wait to have his own children and had 4 wonderful children and an adopted daughter. Rest in peace Mike!
