Gregory "Greg" Dean Stratton, age 71, of Green Forest, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 9th, 2023, at home. He was born October 2nd, 1951, in Hinsdale, Illinois, to Joseph Stratton and Barbara Jean (O'Dell) Stratton. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry O'Dell, Lilian O'Dell, Fritz Eichhrost, and Gladys Eichhorst; and his parents.
Greg was a member of the Alpena First Baptist Church. He served in the United States Marines. Greg loved anything to do with the outdoors. He also enjoyed taking care of his chickens and ducks. In his free time, he would fish. He was known to be creative, and he was friendly to everyone. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Jimmie Sue Stratton of Springdale; two sisters, Karen Stratton of Green Forest and Patricia Williams of Odessa, Missouri; one brother, Joel Stratton of Independence, Missouri; and many other family and friends.
