Mae Sit Lum, aged 84, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on April 20, 2023. She was called to Heaven to be with the Lord and join her late husband, Richard Lum.

Mae Lum was born June 13, 1938 in the Guangdong province of China to the late Mr. and Mrs. Sit Sing Tui before her family fled to Hong Kong. There, she married Richard Lum before immigrating to the U.S. at the age of 19. She was a selfless wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed cooking, listening to music and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her three children whom she loved, David Lum (Lisa) of Wylie, Texas, Tim Lum (Immy) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Linda Glover (Chris) of Little Rock, Arkansas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michal-anne Ang (Warren), Victor Lum (Sarah), Luke Glover (Rachel), Kalli Lum Lao (David), Maddie Jones (Samuel), Audrey Glover and Julia Glover.

In addition to being a dedicated mother, Mae worked with her husband, Richard, at their family-owned grocery store in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was known by her thoughtfulness, selflessness and humor. Most of all, by her love for her family.

A service will be held on Sunday, April 23 at 1:00pm at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, AR. If you'd like to send a gift, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.

I would to express my condolences to the family.

Mae, Richard and Mr. John were friends to my family. My brothers and I lived "down the street" from the store. I still remember the Christmas gifts Richard would give us when we were young.

Im 72yrs old now. But I remember Mr And Mrs John Lum. I lived at 1220 so 7th street, In Blytheville Arkansas. They had the. 2 cute lil boys back then.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Mae Lum passing. I grew up with the Lum family. My family lived on the next street over from your store 7th street. Your mom and dad were so kind to everyone in the Oil Mill Quarters Neighborhood. Your family will always be missed by the Neighborhood. Rest in Peace Ms. Mae😪
