Darren Leslie Pearman, 61, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Darren was born on Wednesday, December 13, 1961 to the late Heyward and Cordia Pearman in Wichita, Kansas. His grandparents were Ray and Hazel Pearman of Wichita, Kansas and Lonnie and Perna Halsted of Marshall, Arkansas.

In 1976, his family relocated to Mountain View, Arkansas where he began high school, and was a 1980 graduate of Mountain View High School. After high school he moved to the Conway, Arkansas area where he worked in box manufacturing. He returned to Mountain View in 1994, working for Smith construction for many years before starting his own business, Pearman Siding Company. In 2015 he went to work at Bad Boy Mowers in Batesville, Arkansas. Darren enjoyed watching Nascar, the Arkansas Razorbacks, fishing, and his cat Puss.

Left to cherish his memory are; his sister, Mardena Talburt; one nephew, Joshua Lumbley (Ryann); two uncles, Arlin Halsted, Juttie Pearman; many cousins and friends.

Darren is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; niece, Kelli Avey; nephew, Dylan Dayberry as well as many aunts and uncles.

Funeral services for Darren will be 2PM Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior. Brother Bradley Ragland will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joshua Lumbley, Darrel Watts, Jim Halsted, Kenneth Halsted, Mike Brewer, and Jeremy Canard.

Roller-Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Today we were saddened to hear of Darren’s passing. He was a friend of ours for over 40 years. Best man at our wedding. We will remember his smile and friendship. Our thoughts and prayers to Mardena and family.

It saddens my heart to hear the passing of cousin Darren. Of what I know of him he was a wonderful person. I pray that God will hold you and your family during this difficult time in the palms of his nailed scared hands. Sending my deepest condolences 💐 and prayers to you all.
