Willa Drewry Simmons, age 80, of Witts Springs, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, April 16th, 2023 at Atkins Nursing and Rehabilitation in Atkins, Arkansas. She was born in Richland Creek, Arkansas on December 25th, 1942 to Thomas Lester Drewry and Berniece Beal England Drewry.

Willa was a member of the Witts Springs Church of Christ. She served for many years on the Witts Springs Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include her children, Aleta Winkler of Jacksonville, Florida and Mike Winkler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Jessica Stockdale and husband Richard of Kansas City, Missouri and Tailyn Mulahasanovic and husband Mirza of Jacksonville, Florida; four great-grandchildren, Grayson Stockdale, Trey Stockdale, Leila Mulahasanovic and Luka Mulahasanovic; sister, Sharon Caughron and husband Gary of Hector; sister-in-law, Linda Drewry Ward of Greenbrier; nephews, Brandon Caughron, Brent Caughron, Torey Caughron, all of Hector and Brian Drewry of Damascus; nieces, Michelle Harwell of Hector and Melissa Caughron of Danville and many friends and extended family who will also mourn her passing.

Willa is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Beal Drewry; brother Coy Drewry; and husband, Glen Simmons.

Graveside services for Willa will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at Witts Springs Cemetery with Bro. Donald Patterson and Bro. Dennis Drewry officiating. Visitation will be 9:00am till 10:00am preceding the service and will be held at the cemetery. Burial will follow the graveside service. Special music will be performed by Andrew Hendrix and Annabelle Hendrix. Bearers will be Kenton Blair, Ricky Blair, Russell Blair, Kerry Blair, Keith Karnes, Jerry Arter and Dennis Drewry. Honorary bearers will be the Witts Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
