Pauline R. Adams Byers, age 97, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Pauline was born on Monday, February 15, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Morris and Lottie Adams. She married Richard R. Byers on January 22, 1944. Pauline was a home-maker and a loving mother of three. She spent most of her days taking care of her family and friends. While in her 40s and 50s, she owned and worked at a Tasty Freeze in Holly Grove, Arkansas. She was a member of the Clarendon Missionary Baptist Church.
Pauline is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard R. Byers; her parents, Lottie and Morris Adams; two sisters, Virgina Owens and Lottie Mae Adams; four brothers, Oscar Adams, Sonny Adams, James Adams and Henry Adams and one grandson, Christopher Byers.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Collins (Jerry) of Holly Grove, Arkansas; two sons, Richard Byers of Roe and Gary Byers (Sandy) of Ward; two brothers, Morris Samuel Adams Jr. and George (Red) Adams; four grandchildren, Wanda Malone, Jerry Mack Collins Jr., Zachary Clay Byers, Andrea Byers and three great grandchildren, Harlee Malone, Maddox and Callen Collins.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10 A.M. at Franks Cemetery, Holly Grove, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Mack Collins, James Malone, Woody Adams and Zach Byers.
