Barbara I am so sad to hear about Jim's passing. We had some great times and build some lasting memories working together at Union National Bank, especially playing on the bank softball and basketball teams. Jim was a true friend and could always be counted on. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.
Jim was a wonderful man and such a gentleman. He helped Ina and I out early in our marriage with a much needed loan. And later, after we had repaid that one, I needed a large sum of money and he basically gave me a signature loan on trust. Of course we paid that one off early. I was privileged to play golf with him a couple of times and enjoyed his company thoroughly. Ina and I offer our deepest sympathies to Jim's wife and family. Jim had a very positive impact on our lives. We will miss him.

Jim was the first banker I was introduced to when I moved back to Little Rock. Jim helped me anytime my family needed assistance and was a true gentlemen in all his dealings with me. When you dealt with Jim, business was conducted on a handshake and you always believed that he truly cared about you, your family and your business.
Jim will be greatly missed and my condolences to all of his family.
Rest in Peace Jim.
