You took on the task of raising five boys that you hardly knew when you married Mom. You were a wonderful human, but most of all, you were a wonderful father to all five of us boys. You never faltered in your fatherhood responsibilities, and none of us really even thought of you as anything other than Dad. Our biological dad left when I was five years old, and somehow you had the fortitude and love to take us on as your own children. You taught me so much, and I hear your voice nearly every day in my head. Thank you for the sacrifice, the love and the commitment to me and my brothers. I am honored to have been your son. You are and will be forever missed.
