Evelyn Fayrece Jacks, age 82, of Helena, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. She was born on Thursday, March 28, 1940 in Woodville, Mississippi to the late Elwin Ross and Ruby Morgan. Fay was the owner and operator of U-Save Bargain Center in both Helena and West Helena, Arkansas. She attended the United Pentecostal Church. Fay enjoyed auctions, flea markets and yard sales. Fay loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones at family gatherings, but her most favorite was the 4th of July. Fay loved the beach and soaking up the sunshine.
She is survived by her husband, Nicky Jacks; four sons, Richard Phillips (Cheryl), Joe "Peewee" Phillips (Kathy), Derward Mauldin (Stacey), Morgan Liston (Kim); one step-son, Nick Jacks; one honorary son, Rhett Mauldin; one step-daughter, Lisa Jacks; one daughter-in-law, Tina Phillips; two honorary daughters, Darlin Jordan (Barry) and Debbie Hudson (David); seventeen grandchildren, Brandon Phillips (Kim), Jessica Brooks (Jordan), Brooke Tate (Brad), Dustin Williams, Richard Paul Phillips (Bethany), Whitney Phillips, Mark Phillips, Alfred Dewayne, Phillips Jr., Robert Lee Phillips, Trevor Phillips (Jessica), Shannon Webb, Sarah Thomas (Eric), Earshal Mauldin (Vanessa), Hunter Mauldin (Tarah), Austin Liston, Ashley Liston and Aiden "Pnut" Listion; one brother, James Chris Morgan and two sisters, Bobbie Gail Salter and Frances Mathis (Randolph).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elwin Ross Morgan and Ruby Morgan; three sons, Elwin "Lynn" Phillips, Alfred Dewayne Phillips, Charles Edward Phillips; one brother, Wiliam "Bill/Wacky" Carson and one honorary son, Rudee Mauldin.
Pallbearers will be Aiden "Pnut" Liston, Earshel Mauldin, Hunter Mauldin, Jeffrey Burke, Blake Mauldin, Nick Jacks III and Jacob Jacks. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Toney, Rhett Mauldin, Austin Liston and Don Materna.
A funeral service for Evelyn Fayrece Jacks will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2023 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2023. Brother Scott Brackin will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas.
The family would like it to be known that there will be fellowship provided after the service at The Party Place in West Helena, Arkansas.

God only made one of a kind when He made Fay. She lived life the way she loved, at full speed. I dared not ask a question for fear of the answer. I was the baby sister and she never let me forget.😇. Fay was kind beyond words, loved her family beyond belief and made every opportunity to do good for those around her. Mama’s first is now back in her arms. God bless those she left behind.
