Dad, I am so thankful I was able to spend time with you the last few days. I was reminded of your strength, humor and your kindness. I enjoyed a lot of good conversations over coffee with Broughton. He was a good friend. he was my only friend who would sit down and talk intelligently with me about God, salvation, and God’s word. I will miss him for a while now, but I’ll get to see him again in heaven when my time of departure arrives.

Thank you for being the best dad that you could be to us all. We love you and hope that God allows you to repair and work on the mechanical equipment in Heaven because you have the history and knowledge for it. We will miss you and we love you.
