Raymond Jefferson Ziegenbein was born on March 1, 1929 in Royal, Nebraska, Antelope County, in a small farming community to Ernest and Alice Ziegenbein. Raymond was the 12th of 13 children. Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, Constance and their youngest child, Tracy and all of his siblings except his youngest brother, Lloyd.

Raymond was a member of the US Air Force and retired at the rank of Staff Sergeant. Raymond met his wife while stationed in England and they had their first child in England. They were married March 14, 1953. During his stay in the Air Force, Raymond had several overseas Postings which included England, Iceland and Thailand. After his retirement from the Air Force his family and he settled down in Arkansas.

Raymond is survived by his son, Alan Ziegenbein; daughters, Gale Maxwell and Julie Wright; grandchildren, Brad Maxwell, Jeff Wright, Chris Maxwell, Mike Maxwell, Krystal Cole and great grandchildren, Makenzie, Holden, Emerie and Maci.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 24th at 3:00 P.M. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.

A visitation will be held the evening before on Thursday, February 23rd from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock.
