Alma Harris, 91, of Mountain Home, AR passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Gassville Nursing Center.
She was born in Lone Rock, AR, the daughter of Noble and Rosie Acklin. Alma married E.J. Harris on December 19, 1950. Together they had four sons and one daughter. She loved her family very much and they will miss her dearly.
Alma was a truly kind and caring woman. She was exceptionally talented and excelled at everything she did. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, painting, quilting, crocheting and had an immense love for animals, which she passed down to her family.
Alma was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Mountain Home. She was incredibly strong in her faith and love for Jehovah.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, E.J. Harris and son, Paul Harris. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sherry Harris of Three Brothers, Roger and Lila Harris of Mountain Home and Donald and Sheila Harris of Gassville; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Earl Godwin of Mountain Home; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Gassville Nursing Center for the loving care that was provided during her time there. A private service will be held at the Harris Family Cemetery.

Alma was always such a quiet and mild spirit. Her faithful attendance at Christian meetings when I was young was a good example for us all.
She will wake up young and refreshed when she is resurrected.
