Mary Alice Dement, of Jonesboro AR passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 with her family by her side at the age of 87. She was born November 15, 1935 in Hoxie, AR to Herman and Ethel (Nelson) Alphin. Mary was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ belief. She loved painting, fishing, camping, her dog Lucky and most of all, spoiling her grandbabies.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Dement and three sisters, Juanita, Merrel and Almeda (Dude).
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Mary include her husband of 70 years, Leroy Dement; three sons, Robin (Judith) Dement, Ron Dement and Rodney (LeAnn) Dement; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, Jarrod, Randa, Jody, Ethan and Mary-Andrea and 12 great-grandchildren.
Chapel services will be 11 am Monday, February 13, 2023 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Bill Willard officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:30 am.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jared Dement, Jody Dement, Cole Dement, Wade Dement, Kiley Dement and Josh Dement.

Leroy I am sorry for your loss I cannot make it to the visitation or funeral because of a doctor appointment. But I do wish you well. You have a good man doing the funeral Bill Willard is a great guy of course that is the way we should feel about all our Christian brothers.
