July 23, 1931 - February 3, 2023
Troy Dale Morrow was born on July 23, 1931 and went to heaven on February 3, 2023.He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Oneda (Goodman) Morrow; a son, Roger Morrow; a daughter, Susan Scarberry (Benny); a brother, John Franklin Morrow; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Mary (Sisk) Morrow and eight brothers and sisters.Troy was a Korean War Veteran, had an incredible work ethic and lived an exemplary life of love and support for his family. He had a wonderful bass voice and loved gospel music. He was a master carpenter, provided guidance, support and love to his family, was a faithful member and deacon of Red Doors Missionary Baptist Church and in his spare time enjoyed fishing and hunting. He may very well be fishing with Peter in heaven as we honor his life here today.I Corinthians 10:31 says . . ."whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God." From his service and support for his church and his family, to his work ethic, to his rock solid integrity in all matters, Troy's life of obedience to God's Word honored that verse. He read his Bible and he believed God. We know where he is today.A graveside service for Troy will be 10 AM Monday, February 6, 2023 at Big Flat Cemetery in Big Flat Arkansas. Brother Josh Looney will officiate.Roller-Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I only met my grandma's (Clearsie Morrow Edens) little brother Uncle Troy Dale (Mom always called him by both names) a couple times that I remember. When I was 15 (1970) we came for the Morrow reunion. Uncle Troy Dale got "stuck" (maybe he volunteered) taking us cousins caving. We had so much fun! In 2005 Mom (Iva Edens Douglas) & I came again for the Morrow reunion. She didn't tell anyone we were coming - we just showed up! Uncle Troy Dale & Aunt Oneeda were so welcoming. We had such a great time visiting & eating my favorite catfish lunch! My condolences to Aunt Oneeda and the family.Anita Griffin

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Mr. Morrow was a friendly man who always knew you and was always ready to talk about hunting and fishing. He will be missed.
The best Grandad my kids, could ever ask for. He was always there, church, at the creek, when they played a ballgame, fishing, hunting, or just talking on the phone, anything that involved the grandkids, he wouldn't think of missing one minute. Nothing happened in their lives that he didn't want to be a part of, If there was ever a problem, he had the solution. God called another angel home today. My family will be lost without him, he taught us so much in life.Grandad will always be watching over us. We will be with him again. What memories we are blessed with. Prayers for peace. Mom of......Shay, Charly, Troy Albert, and families ..
