Dessie Iburg, 87, of Conway, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, January 26, 2023. She was born January 31, 1935, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Harvey Poe and Melzora Gibbs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Iburg; her brothers, Julian and Raymond Nevils; her sisters, Lena Fae Nevils and Flora Mae Shatzer; and her granddaughter, Mandee Elizabeth Gail Robertson.
Dessie was a lifelong Christian and member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved caring for her family, friends, and church community.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Robertson (Lynn), Sandra Scharf (John), and Beverly Iburg; along with her grandchildren, Sundri Robertson, Winsor Cannon, MaLea Sullivan, Jacob Iburg (Thao), and Jessica Wells.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2023 from 6:00-8:00pm, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will also be held at Roller-McNutt on Monday, January 6, 2023, at 10:00am.

It was great growing up with Dessie and all the other second generation Poe's of Rube and Bettie Poe. And it was a privileged to be close to Dessie and Kennith in my adult years. We'll meet again.

My deepest condolences to the Iburg family in the loss of their Mother/Grandmother. Deesie was A good friend of mine and I will always Love and miss her. But its a blessing to know that she is now healed and living pain free with Jesus.
