Martha Heffington Walker, 84, of Cabot passed away on January 27, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Martha was born in Enola, Arkansas to Barney and Willie Belle Heffington on August 12, 1938. She was married to Don Walker on October 1, 1964.
She is survived by her husband; a son, John Walker (Susan) of Forney Texas and a daughter, Tammy Estes (Billy) of Vilonia Arkansas. She has 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Fern King; brother, James Heffington and two sons, Jerry Don and David Scott.
Martha pursued a career in education earning a master's degree in elementary education from the Arkansas State Teachers College in 1960. She spent the majority of her 37-year career at Bayou Meto Elementary. Martha was also a long-term member of the Mars Hill Church of Christ.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 2nd from 6-8pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. The funeral service will be held at Mars Hill Church of Christ on Friday, February 3rd at 10am.

Don and family. So sorry to hear about Miss Martha. She was a sweet lady. Have many memories growing up in Jacksonville and church and school. Mom thought a lot of Martha.
