PS: If I may add a note, seems I remember Oscar telling about a golf hole-in-one that he got one time, but couldn’t tell anyone, as he was supposed to be studying for the bar exam.😊

I was so sad to hear that Oscar had passed away. He was so nice and friendly and “down to earth”.

I knew him from when I worked at FEC, and always liked to hear his stories.😊. We talked about MS, as I used to live there, and TX because my mom was from there, and I believe his mother was from Uvalde. We also talked about AL, as my dad was from there, and I thought of Oscar everytime Auburn played.😊

We were FB friends, but I lost touch with him.

My condolences to you all. He was a very nice man, and always nice to me.

I had the privilege and honor of working with this wonderful man for 25 years. To me he was a gentle giant type person. Mr. Davis was always kind and had a greeting for you with a smile. He was a professional in every sense of the word. His passion for his work was a gift to all he represented. Mr. Davis will be missed deeply by all who knew him. I am keeping your wonderful family in my deepest prayers. I am grateful that knowing Jesus is our assurance of seeing him again in eternity. May the Lord bring you comfort and peace as only He can.

I am so saddened by Oscar's passing. He had such a big and fun personality. His was hilariously boastful about Auburn and he knew it. I loved all his stories and appreciate his generosity to me over the years. Sincere prayers for the for the whole family as you deal with the loss of this wonderful man.

Sue, I am so sorry for your loss. Oscar was a great friend, mentor, and partner. He taught me so much about the practice of law and, more importantly, how to be a good human being in the process. When people would compare my writing style or love for my alma mater to Oscar's, I always took that as a high compliment. I did my best to carry the torch for OSHA work after O retired and always asked myself, "what would Oscar do" when confronted with a new or novel situation in OSHA or labor law. I could always count on him sharing a word of wisdom when I'd call with questions after he retired. I will miss my friend, but know we'll see each other again in Heaven. God bless,
Dan
