James F. Harris Jr., 67, of Wooster passed away on January 26, 2023. He was born December 11, 1955 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Velma and James F. Harris Sr.
James grew up and graduated from high school in California in 1974. He worked for several years with "Smoky the Bear" as a firefighter in California. James and Terri spent the last 30 years living in Wooster, AR. He was a U.S. Marine and member of Disabled American Veterans. He was a loving husband, father, Grandpa Jim and J.J. He was preceded in death by his parents; his best friend and wife of 32 years, Terri J. Harris and son, Alex Harris.
James is survived by his sons, Jon Harris and Jerry (Melissa) Harris; daughter, Krystina Phillips; stepson, Tony Mock; grandchildren, Kye, Rachel, Maddie, Beth, Andrea, William, Alisha, Langston and Payton and sister, Carol Dodak.
A Memorial service will be held for James on February 4, 2023 at 10:00am at LDS Church, 2045 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Arkansas, 72034.

I was friends with James years ago in Yakima. We had a lot of fun times back then. I'm still friends with most of the group that hung out together back then. I wish we could have stayed in touch. I remember His sister Carol also. He popped into my head out of nowhere. I found out about his passing when looking for him to make contact. Wish it had been sooner.
