Ann Cox

of Lakeview, AR

June 13, 1948 - January 14, 2023

Surrounded by her loving family and friends, Ann Cox, 74, of Lakeview, AR, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Saturday, January 14th, 2023. She was born on June 13, 1948 in Charleston, MS to Bert and Alice Jo (Parsons) Chandler.
Ann grew up in the Mississippi Delta before moving to Arkansas and loved spending time with her two daughters,
grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. She loved the Lord and her heart revealed her service to
Him with everyone she ever met. She was the sweetest lady, kindest friend, most loving mother and Nanny,
honest, loyal and would give everything she had to help anyone in need. She never met a stranger.
She loved Elvis, enjoyed reading, gardening, drinking Folgers Instant coffee, singing traditional Gospel songs,
was a great sketch artist and always told the best stories. She was simply too precious for this world.
In her final hours, through tears and laughter, she was surrounded by her family and friends and blessed them
with the incredible experience of being with her spirit right up until the Lord took her hand and brought her home.
In those quiet final moments, she took her leave willingly, absolutely trusting that God was receiving her and she
was finally free from her earthly body.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her oldest brother, Buddy and her beloved sister, Faye.
Survivors include her two daughters, Shannon Chandler (Nathan Clark) and Tabby Crutcher; five grandchildren, Raven Mawhinnie (Nick), Chandler Irish (Caitlyn), Shelby Crisenbery, Nolan Oates and Tala Oates; four great grandchildren, Mason, Addy Grace, Kennedy Michelle and Emmy Jane. One brother, Sammy Chandler (Collette), one sister, Judy Johnson (Mike); as well as several loving nieces, nephews, loved ones, amazing friends and her church family.
Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Thursday, January 19th, 2023 at Believers Cowboy Church 2125 US 62, Yellville, AR; Funeral begins at 2pm, with graveside service immediately following at Hand Valley Cemetery Hwy 101 in Rea Valley (Flippin) with Brother JW Ott officiating.
Pallbearers will be Nick Mawhinnie, Nathan Clark, Preston Ervin, Don Ervin, Russ Chandler and Jonathan Chandler;
honorary, Chandler Irish.

Dear sweet Annie. Love you dearly. So sweet and kind to all. So very sorry for your loss Tabby and Shannon. I worked with Annie for many years at the Shirt Factory. Yes she sure did love Elvis. We had that in common among other things. She was a great friend. Thoughts and prayers and love. So sorry to have missed the service today. 🙏🏻❤️

I did not know Ann very well, just a short time through Rea Valley Baptist Church services, but I always felt a special love and kindness shining off of her. None of these condolences surprised me, it really sounds like Ann. What joy she is having now, forever and ever....my condolences to all the family and loved ones who miss her so dearly.

Ann became a wonderful friend as a co-worker at the shirt factory which was a long time ago. She was always positive and encouraging to me. Every time I have seen her since that time, she always smiled and talked about her grandchildren. You could always feel the love she had in her heart for her family and friends. This family was truly blessed by her presence and we all will miss her.
