Eleanor Derene Bozeman

of North Little Rock, AR

March 9, 1939 - January 1, 2023

Eleanor Derene Bozeman, aged 83, left this world to be with the angels on Jan. 1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Ray and Dovie Williams of Jackson, MS. Born March 9, 1939, Eleanor spent her childhood in MS and her teen years in Baton Rouge, LA. Her time in her later adult life was split between Little Rock and Jackson, MS (many years in each place before settling in North Little Rock).

She leaves behind in this world four children - Ralph "Wesley" Bozeman (Janie) of Santa Barbara, CA - Vicki Gerard of North Little Rock - Gary Bozeman (Elizabeth) of Oswego, NY - and Marcus Bozeman of Little Rock. She was immensely proud of each of her kids and their accomplishments.

She is also succeeded by her two brothers and their families; Glen Williams (Helen) of Foley, AL & Tommy Williams (Mary) of Madison, MS; as well as 8 grandchildren & 8 great-grands (who affectionately called her "Honey").

Eleanor had a wonderful sense of humor. One of her favorite things to do was be in a family setting or out to dinner and just listen to her hilarious sons, son-in-law or brothers tell funny anecdotes that would always have her laughing out loud. Those times truly made her happy.

She was a great lover of babies, flowers, angels and all things "sparkly". She will be missed by all; friends and family; and although we will miss her greatly, we are comforted that she suffers no more and is reunited with her mother, Dovie, whom she dearly loved.

The family plans to have a private service at a later date.

Marcus, This is Deno's mom. I was sad to see you lost your dear mother. I
knew her and would love to share memories. You were one of Deno's
best friend and I was proud and amazed hearing about you through the years.
My heart and prayers are with you and your family.
Lovingly,
Linda Garrett Fordyce
