of North Little Rock, AR
January 28, 1952 - December 24, 2022
Brenda Carolyn Barber, 70, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, December 24, 2022. She was born January 28, 1952 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to J.W. and Dimple Glover. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
Brenda was an active member of Graves Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed spending her time with her sewing group and Wednesday breakfast group. Her love for her husband bypassed everything else on this earth, with her love for her children and grandchildren not far behind. Her favorite pastimes were watching her favorite #27 play baseball and her granddaughters, dance and cheer. As much as she loved her family, her love for her Lord and Savior was the most important thing in her life and she strove to live out that love everyday.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Donald Barber; her son, Jason Barber of NLR; her daughter, Beth Odom (Eric) of NLR; her grandchildren, Maggie Barber, AJ Barber, Ava Odom, Charlotte Odom, Ella Odom and JD Odom. She is also survived by her brother, Bobby Glover (Karen); sisters, Arlene Leslie (Bo), Tish Glover and Regina Lehigh (Kurt) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Graves Memorial Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas at 11:00AM, visitation will start at 9:00AM till service time.

Donald, Jason, Beth, and the rest of her family, I’m so sorry for your loss. She was a very sweet lady. I’m keeping all of you in my prayers.

2 Cor. 1:3-4. Y’all are in my heart and prayers❤️

Brenda was the first neighbor I met when we moved here forty years ago and we had many good times over the years. Recently she would walk over and just sit and visit and catch up. Before Covid hit she had me going to a couple exercise classes at the Senior Center and that was pretty comical! I am heartbroken I can’t attend her service today due to illness but my prayers to Donald, Jason, Beth and all her family. She will be missed!

Well my friend…….
We have known each other a long time. You have gotten to face the Lord and have left behind here on earth a host of people that cherish your memory. RIP Brenda….Well done.
