I grew up neighbors with the Bridges.I am 12 years younger than Wayne so I never ran around with them but I dont have any bad memory’s of any of them, as a matter of fact I have a couple of fun story’s involving them. Im thinking it was Wayne that tought me that you cant syfer gas into a stirafoam cooler.Lol
Another story was a few of us kids thought it would be funny to prop up an old car hood at the intersection of 5th and klan street and see what would happen when a car came by. Well as fate would have it either Kenneth or Wayne (not sure who was driving the car but Im pretty sure it wasn't Debbie or one of the twins) lol but anyway they stopped back up and got a run at it and absolutely wiped it out, 😂. That was one of the coolest thing I ever saw. I expected to get a whooping the next day because you know parents they find out everything but nothing was ever said about it!!
I knew them to be good neighbors. Those were good times!!
Thoughts and Prayers to the family.
RIP Wayne

My sweet, stubborn, caring, soft hearted, hard headed, blunt grandpa.. I will miss you every singe day for the rest of my life, my safe place, my closest friend, the one I told everything too, the one I gossiped too.. I love you so much! I could talk & tell you absolutely anything, & I always did. I will miss coming over, your voice, your laugh, your calls just too talk or check on us, I will miss your drooling laugh you’d do when you would be drinking, I will miss you so freaking much! It’s only been a few days and it’s only getting harder, it doesn’t feel real.. it feels like a bad dream I just haven’t woke up from yet. 😭 I know your in a better place, and you will always be in my heart.. but I want you here with me, if I’d known the last time I seen you a few days ago would have been the last, I would have never left & hugged you a little longer💔💔 you’ve been there to take care of me my whole life, & I know you’ll continue too do so!! ❤️ I will make sure ArieEllen knows you very well, I WILL see you again!!! I LOVE YOU SO SO MUCH!!!!
